Former world number one Ana Ivanovic of Serbia tumbled out of the Pan Pacific Open in the first round here Sunday after failing to find her rhythm.
She became the first seeded player to exit the two-million-dollar event, which includes 25 of the world's top 30 players and is being played on the outdoor hard courts at the Ariake Coliseum.
Lucie Safarova, the world's 44th-ranked player, defeated 10th-seeded Ivanovic 6-4, 7-6 (7/1) in one hour and 26 minutes, after the Czech also beat the Serb at the Rogers Cup in Toronto a month ago.
Ivanovic was also ousted in the first round of the US Open earlier this month, when she was beaten by Ukrainian Kateryna Bondarenko.
"It wasn't the best match Ana did," Safarova said. "We played against each other in Toronto. It was a much better match, much tougher."
Ivanovic struggled with her first-serve percentage, hitting only 40 percent for the match and double-faulted 11 times.
I think it will be soon that Ana will be out of the Top 20, especially with return of the two best women tennis players - Justine & Kim. :'( GO ANA!

2 X 4 days-weekend.
4 days of weekend this week and next week.
WHO IS COMPLAINING?
But problem is: im freaking broke. :(

ANY SUGAR MUMMY AROUND? haha. :O
okay im kidding. don't start flooding me with emails or what shit ok?
Maybe i should start baking again. haha.
but the cookies i baked before Raya is still on the table. HAHA!
Need to start make plans for my 21st. not that i have a lot of money to spare. just a small one. probably meals out with family.. and friends.
Planning to eat at Carousel with family, or probably something cheaper? Hahahahaha. That will be like half of my pay gone just in within 2 hours. Furthermore, mum is not keen for buffet lah.
Hmmm.
And IKEA TRIP SOON ok bro? haha. Wanna do my table at the living room with the family photos. Can't wait to do it.
It will be my favorite corner of the house besides fridge. HAHA. :O
AND OH GOOD NEWS: im a healthy person, besides being fat, me got no high blood pressure. CONFIRM CHOP CHOP. :):):) phew! maybe i just got phobias of people in uniform thus the increase in the blood pressure. thats what doc said. heh heh.
